WAHPETON, ND, November 11, 2009 /University PR News/ -- Jean E. Gillham Freden, Associate Professor at North Dakota State College of Science, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of higher education.
With an impressive professional background that spans 41 years, Jean E. Freden is distinguished for her extensive clinical knowledge of oral anatomy and clinical pharmacology. A highly respected educator, Ms. Freden was honored with the Excellence in Teaching Award in 2007 as well as the Dental Hygienist of the Year Award. She maintains that hard work, love for her profession and the support she receives from her mentors are the driving forces behind her success.
Ms. Freden holds a bachelor of science from the University of Minnesota, earned in 1972. Her professional affiliations include the North Dakota Dental Hygienists' Association and the American Dental Hygienists' Association. Looking ahead, Ms. Freden intends to become more actively involved in volunteer and community services, especially in hospitals and nursing homes.
