LOS ANGELES, CA, November 10, 2009 /University PR News/ -- Dr. Rhea J. Chung, Executive Director of Foundation for Los Angeles Trade-Technical College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.
For seven years, Dr. Chung has been with Los Angeles Trade-Technical College. As the executive director of foundation, she is responsible for marketing, branding, performing administrative duties for educational programs, and raising funds through federal, government and outreach programs for the department and college. She previously worked as an adjunct professor at the Rossier School of Education at The University of Southern California.
Dr. Chung received her Ph.D. in Education in 2008, her Master of Education in 2006, and her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1994, from The University of Southern California. She is a member of the Council of Advancement of Student Affairs, of The Foundation for California Community Colleges, as well as the Professional Student Affairs Committee.
The Los Angeles Trade-Technical College Foundation was incorporated under the laws of the State of California to promote and assists the educational programs of Los Angeles Trade-Technical College. The organization was established as a nonprofit public benefit corporation. The Foundation is pleased to have provided the means for various instructional departments to purchase numerous equipment and supply items for their programs.
Founded in 1925 as the Frank Wiggins Trade School, Trade-Tech is the oldest of the nine, public two-year colleges in the Los Angeles Community College District. For more information, visit http://college.lattc.edu.
