EcoDynamics, LLC and Alliant International University
partner for global energy projects
Alliant's Bright Green MBA students to learn
while helping solve major environmental challenges
SAN DIEGO, CA, April 14, 2010 /University PR News/ -- EcoDynamics, LLC and Alliant International University have joined forces in a global project involving renewable energy production, environmental conservation and sustainable business development, it was announced by Alliant's President, Geoffrey M. Cox at a one-day sustainability and green initiative conference held recently at the University. Joining the conference were the Honorable Bob Filner, California's border congressman, the Honorable Socrates Bestida Hernandez, Secretaria de Proteccion de Baja California, who both spoke in support of the alliance.
"We are very pleased to be part of EcoDynamics' ambitious efforts to bring comprehensive solutions to communities suffering from environmental degradation," said Cox. "The synergies between the initiatives that both US Congressman Filner and Baja's Secretary Hernandez are driving align with the Alliant International University's commitment in making an impact on society and delivering results that make a difference in the lives of individuals, couples, families, schools, organizations, companies, and nations."
As part of the partnership, EcoDynamics is developing several international projects combining alternative energy production with resource recovery and conservation. The first will involve building a Science Institute and Agricultural Center in 2012 in Calexico, California, that will provide a learning environment for the study of waste to energy, agricultural conversion to biofuels and toxic water purification, including salt water conversion. The facility will be owned and designed by RSEI EcoDynamics International and is part of a major ecology program in the Calexico/Mexicali border area. This Center will be operated in association with Alliant and provide opportunities for faculty and students to participate in research, planning, and educating the public about these topics. The Science Center will also be open to the public as a tourist learning attraction.
"Alliant is a perfect partner for us in this work, "Verne Nobles Sr., .EcoDynamics CEO. "Their innovative work in sustainable management and their focus on social change complements the work of our technical and scientific partners."
Alliant's Marshall Goldsmith School of Management is home to a variety of degree offerings in the fields of business and international relations, including the Bright Green MBA program, which provides students interested in "green" business enterprise with management and entrepreneurial skills. Alliant students will work as interns in EcoDynamics projects, providing them with real-world project management experience in a broad range of areas related to sustainability and conservation.
