Aristide J. Collins Jr. celebrates over 15 years in the education field
ATLANTA, GA, January 19, 2010 /University PR News/ --Aristide J. Collins Jr., Vice President for Institutional Advancement of Clark Atlanta University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
With 18 years of experience in the education field, Mr. Collins is responsible for overseeing external relationships, managing alumni relations, governmental relations, handling fundraising and bringing resources to the university. In 2007, he was appointed as the vice president of institutional advancement and University relations to rebuild a comprehensive advancement division for the university. Since his arrival, Clark Atlanta University has received approximately $28 million in gifts and pledges.
Mr. Collins received his ABD from Pepperdine University, his Master's Degree in Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach in 1998 and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, East Bay in 1993. He is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Long Beach Community Improvement League.
