Dedicated Educator Meets The Standards Of Stanford Who's Who

Stanford Who's Who has recognized Gabriel Jonsson for his phenomenal work in the Educational Industry.

    SOLNA, SWEDEN, January 10, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who has recognized Gabriel Jonsson for his phenomenal work in the Educational Industry. As a Teacher for Stockholm University for the past 22 years, Jonsson has routinely exhibited the passion and dedication necessary to be successful as an educator.

Gabriel teaches Korean Language in addition to Political and Economic Development at the prestigious institution. He has particular expertise in Korean Studies. In addition to teaching and research, Jonsson performs external lectures for people dealing with Korea in a variety of different ways including academics, businessmen and associations. He has also appeared on TV to comment on hot issues in Korea.

Jonsson has always been extremely interested in world affairs but has focused on Korea since he began writing to a pen pal from South Korea in 1977 while still in high school. He did works about Korea in high school which is where he initially got the idea to work with Korea professionally.

Among his greatest accomplishments, Jonsson lists receiving his PhD in 1996 and his promotion to Associate Professor in Korean Studies in May 2009.

Jonsson earned his PhD at Stockholm University. He is a member of the Association of Korean Studies in Europe as well as the Association of Oriental Studies.
