Dino Pacio Lindin has attended school in England, Spain, France and Germany
NEW YORK, NY, January 21, 2010 /University PR News/ -- Dino Pacio Lindin, Associate Professor, Program Director, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education administration.
With 40 years of professional experience, Dr. Pacio Lindin specialized in teaching philosophy, sociology and linguistics. He taught individual learning to 25 students, conducted meetings with students and faculty, and performed managerial operations. At the City University of New York (CUNY) and the State University of New York (SUNY), he served as the director of a bi-lingual program for Spanish and English speaking students. Each student received a contract and description of their courses, and they were taught until their individual needs were met. With the initiation of the programs he directed, he was able to alter the statistics of students dropping out of school to completing their education from 10 percent to 65 to 70 percent.
Dr. Pacio Lindin has acquired his Ph.D., Master's Degree and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. As a child, he lived in a commune and led a very isolated life. When he was about 12 years-old, he moved into the city and his teachers recognized his aptitude. He soon grasped the significance of education and the mportance of learning English as a second language. He felt a need for a greater opportunity for young immigrants to continue their education with their native language as their base, while learning English. He attributes his success to his education and wordly experience. He is presently writing in Galician about his original commune; he is also writing in Spanish on the question 'In Which Historical Age Do We Live?' Dr. Pacio Lindin also writes in English on the theme 'Biliterate Immigrants.' During his professional career, he lectured in Galician, Spanish, English, Italian, French, German and Portuguese.
