Mark A. Durivage to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry

Mark A. Durivage celebrates six years as the Dean of the School of Technology

    TOLEDO, OH, January 21, 2010 /University PR News/ -- Mark A. Durivage, Dean of Owens Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

Mark A. Durivage has six years of experience as the Dean of the School of Technology at Owens Community College. His responsibilities include overseeing all instructional programs and activities within the School. He also supervises the development and implementation of new academic curricula, accreditation activities, directing the on-going evaluation of the School courses and programs and collaborating with the College's other academic deans to enhance educational opportunities and resources for current and future students. He became involved in his profession because he wanted to make a difference in the lives of people and felt that education was a good avenue to do so. He attributes his success to hard work. Durivage received the Owens Community College Exemplary Administrator Award in 2003.

Durivage earned his Master's Degree in Quality from Eastern Michigan University, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Aided Machining from Siena Heights University, and an Associate's Degree in Computer Aided Machining from Owens Community College. He is a member of the Association for Technology Management, and Applied Engineering, the American Society for Quality, and the American Welding Society.
