Dr. T. Horace Estes Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Dr. T. Horace Estes is a member of the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society
JACKSONVILLE BEACH, FL, October 04, 2010 /University PR News/ -- Dr. T. Horace Estes, Adjunct Professor at the Cambridge Medical Institute Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.
After retiring from a successful 30-year career in private medical practice, Dr. T. Horace Estes pursued a new career in teaching in 2002. Having taught as an adjunct professor at several colleges and universities in the Jacksonville area, he took on a full time position at Cambridge Medical Institute, which has established a new nursing school. As one of the original instructors in the general education department, his classes include anatomy and physiology, microbiology and pharmacology. In the near future his course load will include nutrition and chemistry expanding into epidemiology and other additional areas. He attributes his success to his passion for his profession and his environment, where he is surrounded by younger people.
Dr. Estes is the recipient of an MD from The University of Tennessee Medical Center. He is also a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. He is a member of the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society. In the future, Dr. Estes intends to continue teaching nursing programs at the Cambridge Medical Institute, Inc. He also hopes to develop curriculum for bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in nursing.
