Deborah Y. Hendrix Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Deborah Y. Hendrix celebrates six years as a program director for Wayne County Michigan
DETROIT, MI, December 20, 2010 /University PR News/ -- Deborah Y. Hendrix, Program Director for Wayne County Michigan, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in programs, probation and court procedures.
With six years of experience as a program director for Wayne County Michigan, Ms. Hendrix is responsible for overseeing alternative programs. Ms. Hendrix's unit received the National Association of Counties Award in 2010. They are also recipients of the Urban Farming Program Award and the Mental Health Court Award. She became involved in her profession because she was recruited for the position following her time with the department of corrections, and she attributes her success to her continuous learning and skill development.
Ms. Hendrix received a master's degree in counseling from Spring Arbor University in 2006, having received a bachelor's degree in social work and sociology from Western Michigan University in 1972.
