Jennifer Lynn Coor Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
Jennifer Lynn Coor hopes to become a college professor and provide the inspiration her own professors provided
TALLAHASSEE, FL, February 19, 2010 /University PR News/ -- Jennifer Lynn Coor of the Department of Geological Sciences at Florida State University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in scientific research.
In her position at the Department of Geological Sciences at Florida State University, Ms. Coor specializes in coastal marine geology. Her advisors made an impact in her life when conducting various research projects through the years and she is currently involved in research involving the Florida shore line and the effect storms have had over 5,000 years. She had wanted to become a scientist since childhood and attributes her success to having wonderful parents and advisors.
Ms. Coor is pursuing Ph.D in coastal marine geology at Florida State University. She is a member of the American Geological Union and The Geological Society of America. Her future plans include becoming a professor.
