Tyrone G. Mettler Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Tyrone G. Mettler's passion for aviation enables him to thrive as a professor at Antelope Valley College
LANCASTER, CA, February 3, 2010 /University PR News/ -- Tyrone G. Mettler, Professor of Aeronautics and Aviation Technology at Antelope Valley College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in mentoring new instructors.
As a professor at Antelope Valley College, Tyrone G. Mettler is responsible for teaching aircraft maintenance, coordinating programs, overseeing budgets, ordering equipment, and coordinating with the tenure and evaluation committee. He became involved in his profession after serving in the United States Air Force, and he attributes his success to his hard work, dedication and passion for the aviation industry.
Mr. Mettler received his Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2007. He is a member of the Aviation Maintenance Technical Society and the Aviation Technician Education Council.
