Exceptional Educator Of Environmental Studies Makes The Grade With Stanford Who's Who

CAMPINAS, SAO PAULO, BRAZIL, March 20, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Emilia W. Rutkowski has been recognized by Stanford Who's Who as a result of her sensational work in the Education Industry. As an Assistant Professor for the University of Campinas, as well as throughout her extraordinary 25 year career, Emilia has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be successful.
The University of Campinas which is known also as Unicamp, is one of the public universities of the State of São Paulo, Brazil. Its main campus is located in the Barão Geraldo district, with additional campuses in Limeira and Piracicaba.
Created in 1962 and physically installed in 1966, Unicamp's original goal was to promote science education in the industrial pole of São Paulo's interior region. As of 2006, the university had about 16,000 undergraduate and 15,000 graduate students, as well as 1,800 faculty members.
Emilia is an Assistant Professor of Industrial Ecology at the university. She is involved in teaching about the environment in the areas of urban water and solid waste.
During her educational career, Emilia earned a PhD in Urban Design and Environmental Urban Studies. She enjoys cooking and traveling in the time away from her busy schedule.
