Kemoh Salia-Bao Named to Exclusive Membership Organization

A passionate educator, Kemoh Salia Bao thrives as a professor at Cambridge College

    CAMBRIDGE, MA, March 31, 2010 /University PR News/ -- Cambridge College recognizes and honors Kemoh Salia-Bao, professor of education, for his stellar contributions toward the field of education and for his dedication, leadership, and excellence in curriculum development.

A distinguished faculty member, Dr. Salia-Bao is a well-recognized, student-focused teacher. During his remarkable career, he collaborated with governments of various countries to overhaul, shape, and revitalize educational systems from ground up. He has also served as a consultant for UNESCO, World Bank, and international government entities.

Dr. Salia-Bao started his illustrious career in the 70's and during this span of almost three decades, he has developed and mentored hundreds of students, including doctoral students, at all levels. He has published over 15 books and has authored numerous scholarly articles and technical publications for academic circles and for government and international agencies.

Dr. Kemoh has served as the secretary of state for the Government of Sierra Leone and Sierra Leone's Ambassador to Liberia. His consulting credits include work with Sierra Leone Institute of Education, Ford Foundation, University of Liberia, Science Education Programme for Africa, UNESCO Missions, and many others.

Dr. Sali-Bao received his Master of Education from Harvard University in 1981 and his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1980.
