Rebecca C. Vaupotic Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Rebecca C. Vaupotic celebrates over 10 years in the education field
PORTLAND, OR, March 18, 2010 /University PR News/ -- Rebecca C. Vaupotic, Writing Instructor and Mathematics Tutor for Portland Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
With 11 years of professional experience, Ms. Vaupotic specializes in writing. She teaches mathematics and writing lessons, and counsels students. She has worked on the English curriculum, which was the first department to switch from three credit hours to four. She has also developed a list of non-English sequences that undergraduate advisors could use to recommend possibilities to their students. In her spare time, she volunteers to help homeless and elderly individuals find apartments.
Ms. Vaupotic received her Master's Degree in English from Portland State University in 1994. She was inspired by her own experience in school to pursue a career in education, and she attributes her success to her hard work and communication skills.
