Frankye Jo Towry-Driggers, 50-plus year teaching veteran, announces plans to improve Centerpoint School District
GLENWOOD, AR, April 7, 2010 /University PR News/ -- Frankye Jo Towry-Driggers, Teacher for the Centerpoint School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
With more than five decades of professional experience, Frankye Jo Towry-Driggers is a recognized authority on mathematics, elementary and adult education. Now lending her expertise to the Centerpoint School District, she thrives in her fifth year, rendering student supervision, education and administration. Recently named Teacher of the Year, Ms. Towry-Driggers has demonstrated professional dedication and excellence in her position at Centerpoint.
In an exclusive interview with Cambridge Who's Who, Ms. Towry-Driggers noted that she became involved in teaching through the inspiration of family members, who worked in the field of education. This prompted her to attend Henderson State University, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 1962. Today, she is a member of the National Education Association and American Education Association. Looking forward, she noted, she has no plans of stopping but will instead seek to continue helping the school district.
