Industry Leader Meera Motta Added to the Cambridge Who's Who Network
Meera Motta is a member of Phi Beta Delta (Omega Chapter) - Society of International Scholars, The National Society of Leadership and Success(National Chapter), American College of Sports and Medicine (ACSM)
NORTHRIDGE, CA, April 13, 2010 /University PR News/ -- Meera Motta is a graduate student in California State University, Northridge, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in the field of rehabilitation and academics.
At California State University, Northridge, Ms. Motta is responsible for assisting patients with special needs and delivering presentations. She also participates in the student panel for an international curriculum and education program (SPICE program), where she delivers presentations on as well as off campus at California State University, Northridge. She attributes her success to the support and trust she receives from her family and God.
Ms. Motta is pursuing her Master's Degree in Kinesiology, with an emphasis on Adapted Physical Activity (APA), at California State University, Northridge (Anticipated date of Graduation - May 18, 2010). In India, she completed college coursework in physical therapy. The recipient of an Adele Juarez Scholarship award, she is a member of Phi Beta Delta (Omega Chapter), The National Society of Leadership and Success (National Chapter), American College of Sports and Medicine (ACSM) and Aquatic Therapy and Rehab Institute (ATRI). Ms. Motta also volunteered her time to her school's Mentor Program in fall 2008. In the future, she is looking forward to practice in the area of Rehabilitation and participating in public speaking.
