Professor George C. Mucherson to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Professor George C. Mucherson has been with the Los Angeles Community College District for 26 years
PALM SPRINGS, CA, April 02, 2010 /University PR News/ -- Professor George C. Mucherson, Professor at Los Angeles Community College District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.
Professor Mucherson has 37 years of overall professional experience. As a professor at Los Angeles Community College District, he teaches sociology including sociological facets of race and ethnicity, social interactions, and social research methodology with minimal statistics. Prior to his current position, he taught history at high school. He is also a Korean War veteran who served in the United States Army and Air Force, and attributes his success to his family background.
In 1970, Professor Mucherson received his Master of Art in Sociology from California State University at Los Angeles. He completed coursework in 1968 at California State University at Northridge, and is a member of the Palm Springs Retired Teachers Association, and the American Federation of Teachers.
