Christy L. Bateman Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Christy L. Bateman efficiently manages her time between her academic studies, internship and job
BANKS, AL, May 28, 2010 /University PR News/ -- Christy L. Bateman, MS, Student at Troy University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in academic studies.
Currently enrolled at Troy University, Ms. Bateman is pursuing her Master's Degree in Counseling at Auburn University at Montgomery. She obtained her Master's Degree in Psychology from the University in 2007 and has attained initiation into Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, and Chi Sigma Iota, an international honor society.
In addition, Ms. Bateman has gained experience in the psychology field by interning for Dr. Terri Brewer. During her internship, she worked with children and adolescents, and administered psychological assessments to detect learning disabilities and for clinical case studies. She also works at a pre-school as a reading specialist for 4- to 5-year-old children using the A Beka curriculum. She enjoys helping others and attributes her success to her determination. Upon her graduation, she intends to work for an inpatient facility.
