California College San Diego Graduates Take One More Step Toward Success

San Diego college has graduating class of over 500; commencement ceremony to take place at Spreckels Organ Pavillion on June 9

SAN DIEGO, CA, June 05, 2011 /University PR News/ -- Graduates from California College San Diego will take one more step toward career success on Thursday, June 9, as they receive their college diplomas. The graduates join the thousands of alumni who have received career training from California College San Diego (CCSD) through degree programs in business, healthcare, and information technology.

"This graduating class is truly inspiring. We have graduates who balanced full-time jobs with school, those who are single parents, and some who hadn't considered the path of higher education until they found CCSD," explains Ken Webb, campus director of California College San Diego. "They persevered, overcoming all types of obstacles to get to graduation. When they accept their diplomas, our graduates will be able to leverage their college degree and take the next step toward a better life and career."

CCSD has experienced a steady increase in enrollment as more Americans return to school. The number of CCSD graduates is expected to grow as well, as students continue to seek career advancement with degrees from accredited institutions. There are over 500 students in CCSD's 2011 graduating class.
