CollegeAmerica Hosts "Summer Bash" for Fort Collins Community

The event will feature games, a petting zoo, food, educational demonstrations, and other family-friendly activities

    DENVER, CO, July 27, 2011 /University PR News/ -- CollegeAmerica will be hosting a "Summer Bash" for current and prospective students and community partners. The event will be held on Saturday, August 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the CollegeAmerica campus, at the corner of Harmony Road and Mason Street. The "Summer Bash" is a way for CollegeAmerica to celebrate their current students as well as provide prospective students the opportunity to see if a degree program in business, information technology, graphic arts, or healthcare is right for them.

When: Saturday, August 6, 2011 (rain or shine), 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost: Free

"We look forward to hosting 'Summer Bash' every year because it is a great way to bring our students together and connect with the community," said Joel Scimeca, campus director at CollegeAmerica Fort Collins. "The event is also an opportunity for people who have been putting off earning their degree or who are looking for a career change to kick-start their new future. Admissions representatives and students will be available at the event to answer questions about CollegeAmerica's degree programs. Earning a degree at CollegeAmerica can be a good option for busy adults trying to balance a career and/or family with school, and benefits such as flexible class schedules can help them take one step closer to their educational and career goals."

The event will feature a carnival theme with large air bounce rides, table games, a petting zoo, food, educational demonstrations, and other activities. Several community partners will be in attendance including: Alternatives to Violence, Harvest Farm/Denver Mission, Larimer Humane Society, Safe Kids Coalition, United Way, U.S. Army, U.S. Marines, and the Women's Resource Center.
