Janet Harley Brugger to be Featured in Exclusive Registry
Janet Brugger has been the director of student affairs at University of the Rockies for two years
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, May 20, 2011 /University PR News/ -- Janet H. Brugger, Director of Student Affairs at University of the Rockies, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.
With 10 years of professional experience, Ms. Brugger attributes her success to her networking abilities. As the director of student affairs for the Colorado Springs campus, she is responsible for overseeing such matters as judicial affairs, the Graduate Student Association, student activities, career and alumni services, as well as acting as a liaison between students, faculty and administration. In addition, she assists in identifying internship and career opportunities in the community. Ms. Brugger was previously an instructor in adult learning facilities, but became interested in administration when she realized the need to change certain policies, especially regarding admissions.
Ms. Brugger is pursuing a Doctor of Education in higher education, with a concentration in higher education administration, at Northeastern University. In 2005, she received a Master of Science in management and HROD from the University of Maryland. She currently serves as the National Chair of The Student Affairs Partnering with Academic Affairs Knowledge Community of NASPA.
