Lori Barkley Graduates To The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who

Stanford Who's Who welcomes Lori Barkley to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in the Education Industry.

    CASTLEGAR, BC, CANADA, May 1, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Lori Barkley to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in the Education Industry. As part of the Anthropology and Peace Study Faculty at Selkirk College, Lori has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.

Established in 1966, Selkirk College is a regional community college whose vision is to inspire, engage and enable their students to be valuable contributors to their communities and to society as a whole. The school offers over 60 programs to more than 2,400 full-time students. Selkirk College has a total of 8 campuses and learning centers.

Lori teaches introductory courses in biological/physical anthropology, archaeology, and cultural anthropology, as well as ethnic relations and the anthropology of religion. The courses she teaches also include components on peace to complement the peace studies program. Lori's research interests focus on identity construction through narrative. During her collegiate career, she earned a Master's degree in Anthropology from Simon Fraser University. Lori also studied Anthropology at the University of Calgary.
